I’ve put off my yearly check up by six months because I thought it was something I didn’t have to worry about. My husband finally convinced me to go to the doctor and I finally budge and went. I did the typical female check up and was on the way out the door when the doctor told me to come back because she had to talk to me. I walk back in and she tells me that she see something and I should make an appointment to see her in a week.
Now I’m stressing out thinking something is terribly wrong. I was snappy and freaked out until I get the doctor. Now I finally got to see the doctor and she said that I had an abnormal pap smear. She saw something on my cervix and she said that I went from a one to a two.
FULL FREAK OUT MODE OCCURRED
I started asking questions immediately:
Am I okay? What is going on with me? What did you see? What do we do now?
She told me that she’s going to schedule a Colposcopy….now I’m super freaked out. I have to wait until tomorrow to see my results. I hope everything is okay and I hope all is well. I never had a colposcopy before…now I’m super freaked out.
